RutiHost - Terms of Service

By using RutiHost's (“We”, “Us”, “Our” or “Viking Layer”) products and services, you ("You", "Your", "Client" or "Customer") agree to comply with our policies. Viking Layer reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or terminate any service provided with or without a refund or notice or warning for any reason. RutiHost also reserves the right to change and modify the Terms of Service at any time with or without client notification. It is up to the client to periodically check and familiarize himself or herself with the recent Terms of Service. If any client does not comply with the new Terms of Service modifications, his or her service will be terminated.

 

WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ANY LIABILITY FOR THE DATA AND CONTENT TRANSMITTED THROUGH OR TEMPORARILY OR PERMANENTLY STORED ON OUR NETWORK OR ANY SERVER AND FOR THE ACTIONS OR OMISSION OF USERS.

Acceptable Use Policy

By ordering our services, you agree to adhere to our Acceptable Use Policy. Failure to do so will result in suspension and possibly termination.

Support

RutiHost's services are unmanaged. Viking Layer VPSs are designed for advanced Linux administrators and experienced webmasters. In order to successfully manage our VPSs, the client must be familiar with Linux operating systems. RutiHost provides basic tools needed to configure and maintain the client’s VPS. RutiHost also provides remote console access to our VPSs which gives the client a way to access his or her VPS even with a broken SSH configuration.

The client is responsible for managing his or her service. RutiHost staff is available for general support covering the areas below:

  • Billing
  • Network Access
  • Server Hardware
  • VPS Control Panel
  • OS Templates and ISOs


This list may not be exhaustive, but it represents the general idea of our unmanaged hosting. Anything that we do not install and configure for the client is the client’s responsibility and is not covered by our support. We will not install or configure additional packages on any of our service or product. Please note that multiple replies to tickets will not ensure that you receive a faster response. We generally process tickets in the order in which they are received.

Traffic Usage


All account plans come with a predetermined amount of traffic allowance. Your services may be suspended if you exceed this.

Refusal Of Service

 We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or suspend service, at our sole discretion.

Service Payment, Refunds and Cancellation Guidelines

Failure to pay by the due date will result in suspended and, ultimately, terminated service. RutiHost staff reserves the right to terminate your service at any point after your invoice is overdue, and will not be responsible for any data loss due to termination.

RutiHost operates NO REFUND POLICY. Our services are provided as is and we do not guarantee any refunds. 

Paypal subscriptions are your own to maintain, any overpayments or double payments will be held as account credit, in the event that you choose to close your account any credit gained through overpayment will be held for 7 days and can be refunded unless made by subscription payment, no refunds are possible if you have overpaid due to failure to manage your own payment subscription, We will apply an admin charge of €10 to any credit or part thereof in the event a refund of an overpayment is requested, if your total credit does not exceed the admin charge and credit will be forfeit upon closing your account.

Payment Chargebacks and Billing Disputes

Raising a billing dispute with our payment processors or charging back a payment made to RutiHost will place the client’s account in bad standing. We reserve the right to immediately terminate all services without refund in such instances. In case you have issue please contact us through ticket system first!

Other Disputes

Any threat of legal action against RutiHost will result in immediate account and service termination without refund.

Accounts

All orders placed through our billing portal are passed through an automatic fraud check system. Although our VPSs are typically set up instantly upon receipt of payment, we manually review each fraud score before accepting the order. If our fraud check system scores your order as dangerous, we may require submission of a government issued ID to allow continued use of our services. Failure to comply in a timely manner may result in suspension and/or termination without refund. If you provide false information when placing an order, your service may be suspended and/or terminated without notice upon manual review. Each client may have only one account with RutiHost.

Backups

RutiHost does not take backups of client VPS data. RutiHost recommends that clients backup their VPS data to their personal computers or remote storage servers. Clients are responsible for their own data. RutiHost shall by no means be responsible for data loss.
